Tug Hill Vineyards has announced the release of its first sparkling wine made with Marquette grapes grown in the north country. The winery off Route 12 in West Lowville has introduced its new sparkling wine called “Cuvée Rosé,” made from locally grown grapes using a traditional method that has been used for centuries in the Champagne region of France, according to a press release issued by the winery.
