(Tun M, where are you? S.O.S If Mukhriz loses this time, no more hope, no more your legacy...it is now or never....like you said, Umno gonna die! :) Unofficial results put Home Minister Ahmad Zahid, who is widely admired in the party for his decisive stand on crime and security, as receiving 63 votes from divisions as of 5pm. Following closely behind is Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal with 56 votes, while Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein, whom many had earlier written off, got 35 votes. However, Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Mukhriz Mahathir is giving a stiff fight to Hishammuddin, with the former receiving 30 votes to date. The other two contenders - former Malacca chief minister Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam and Felda chairman Tan Sri Mohd Isa Samad have garnered four votes each.
