#Turkey #PKK #AKP #Kurds #Syria #Rojava #YPG #IS #Daesh Now things seem to escalate on all fronts. The PKK announced that the cease-fire is over and yesterday at three different districts PKK fighters attacked Turkish Army convoys in the provinces of Erzurum, Diyarbakir and Bitlis. The PKK says that the Turkish Army where themselves advancing, combat ready, towards PKK positions. At least two Turkish soldiers got wounded. The PKK made this move - as they say it - due to the Turkish relationships with radical Islamist groups, their stance towards the Kurds in Syria as well as there had been no real progression (in form of far-reaching laws) in regards to the so called Peace Process between the PKK and the Turkish State. The PKK pointed out that they had always stated that if until September 2014 no real progress was made that the cease-fire would be obsolete. This comes at an time when Turkey is discussing military action inside Syria against IS as well as talking about installing a buffer zone in the Kurdish ruled areas inside Syria - which has sparked fear among Pro-PYD activists and Kurds in Rojava that Turkey will use the advance of IS as an excuse to suppress the Kurdish Autonomy movement inside Syria. Here an important interview on this Issue: al-monitor/pulse/originals/2014/09/turkey-pkk-commander-bayik-threatens-resume-war.html
