“Turn us back to You, O Lord, and we will be restored; renew our days as of old.” (Lamentations 5:21) Sometimes a Christian may experience spiritual coldness. Something happens little by little until we get snowed and frozen. There is still life down there covered up by the frost and ice. Beloved, if we have come to this state, we still can appeal to our hearts. Stir up ourselves and shake off the dust off from our feet. We must wait on God in prayer until we are restored. Confess every known and unknown sins, repent and seek God’s forgiveness. Don’t be evasive with God or to ourselves and rationalize our weaknesses or there would be no help. Search ourselves. Be honest and truthful with humility so we can see the springtime come to our heart. The balm and healing in the blood of the Lamb will get us out of the rut. Have a blessed day!
