Turned up to my bio-mechanical podiatry assessment this morning in shorts - as specified - having marched grimly along Brighton Terrace in the keening wind, muttering If I can stand on the Gaiety Theatre stage dressed as a pirate with a moustache, I can cope with shorts. Then had 2 young, male and fairly good-looking podiatrists trying to manipulate my ankles and finding that the ankles were distinctly disinclined to move freely... so ended up in the Radiology Department at Nobles Hospital. At least that I explains why I was so rubbish at football!
