Turning the lights off for an hour is a nice gesture but how about this (and this is such a no-brainer I kinda feel stupid typing it out): Turn off the lights when you leave room. The electric fan, too. Turn off the TV if youre not watching it. Fix that leaky faucet. Whatever it is, if youre not using it, Turn it off. DO THIS ALWAYS. Teach your kids to do the same. Im no eco-warrior. Others will have ideas with far more impact. Like I said, my suggestion requires no brains and practically zero effort. In fact its so simple everybodys already doing it, right? Right?
