Twenty - two years ago today I was Blessed beyond all measure because my best friend my love of my life said, I do. When she was asked by the priest if she wanted to marry me. And so began our new lives together. It has been quite a ride. There has been numerous times wben tears were shed both of sorrow and joy. It has not always been easy; usually caused my something pretty stupid I did. In my darkest hours my wife, Kathy, has stood by me like a rock. This past year as many of you know being stupid I injured myself and almost bled to death. My injury to my arm was so severe that Kathy had to give consent to have my right hand amputated four inches above my wrist. Only through the Grace of God and an amazing doctor was my hand saved. When I woke up from surgery the first thing I saw was Kathys beautiful face. She said to me, Babe they saved your hand , youre going to be alright. At that moment I knew I would recover because my soul mate, my rock said I was going to be ok. As she always has Kathy took incredible care of me by loving me. You see I know that I scared Kathy this time. She hid it from everyone else but I know her so well. She cries and prays in private. In the 22 plus years Ive know Kathy this was tbe first time she said to me, Honey Ill pray for you. Her faith is so much deeper than even she realizes. So on this our 22nd wedding anniversary I just want the world to know I LOVE MY BEAUTIFUL WIFE WITH ALL MY HEART!!!!!! Honey I will be more careful because my biggest sorrow is that I scared you and I never want to see you scared again. Happy Anniversary Honey I would not change one breath of my life because everything Ive ever did led me to Gods gift of our marriage. You are and always will be my rock and inspiration.
