Two Common WRONG CONCEPTS About COMMUNISM One is usually committed by right-wingers and the other by left-wingers: 1) People confuse countries that had/have a marxist communist ideology as official ideology with countries that actually lived a marxist communist society. Countries of the first type existed/exist. Countries of the second condition NEVER EXISTED. One of the main requirements for a marxist communist society is the ABOLITION OF THE STATE. This never happened. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Communist_society 2) Unlike what some naive leftist people believe, a communist society as visualized by Marx is impossible while: a) people have nasty instincts ( with relatively few really nice ones who fortunately were born with heightened good instincts and very weak bad instincts ). b) people have considerable genetic, epigenetic and upbringing differences which generates people with very different mental and physical capabilities. A communist society is impossible with a population highly variable in capabilities, gifts, talents, interests and fundamental value systems. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_variability#Common_human_variations
