Two activists are killed every single week now globally. These are just one set of figures that show the nature of the war we are all engaged in currently. Just in case anyone is still in any doubt that we are currently engaged in a global conflict unlike any other we have known. Corporations are controlling and persecuting our communities and carrying out a practice of expansive destruction and rape of natural resources of our planet. Just look at the oceans now depleted to a little over 1% of their of the 1970s fish stock in many place. This is like no war we have ever known in the history of our kind. In the past generations have been called up by governments and monarchies to go off and fight for their self interests. Now is the time I firmly believe that we are either to stand up and fight the perpetrators of such a massive violence on our environment, on land and in the oceans, or we are to simply roll over and concede that we are not morally purposeful and without the resolve to take on the responsibility of our generations war. The battle lines have been drawn over the past decades and only if WE acquiesce, can they truly have victory. It is down to us to see to it that each is aware of what is being perpetrated, not in our names but in the names of shareholders of multi national mega corporations.
