Two arrested at domestic on Keavy Road: Sheriff John Root is reporting that Laurel Sheriff’s Deputy Shane Rice, along with Deputy Kevin Berry arrested two individuals on Sunday , May 4, 2014 at approximately 12:01 PM. The arrest occurred on Keavy road, approximately 5 miles West of London after deputies were dispatched to a domestic violence complaint. Upon arrival, deputies learned that there allegedly had been an argument over money, and that husband and wife had gotten into a physical altercation. A primary aggressor could not be determined. Deputies arrested Gene Lawhorn age 44 and Barbara Longhorn age 53 both of Keavy Road both charged with assault fourth degree, and lodged in the Laurel County detention facility.
