One is the new minimum wage law, which goes into effect July 2; the second is an effort to eliminate at a federal statute (Section 14C) which covers special minimum wages paid to people who have disabilities. We urge workers, family members, and advocates to contact your state and federal legislative representatives and urge them to keep Section 14C an option for workers with disabilities.
