Two days into my first workouts since baby and I am all over my body SORE! I mean the kind of sore where I dont want to roll over in bed kind of sore, or get up to use the toilet kind of sore because Ill have to bend down and sit on it kind of sore. What do you do when your muscles are THAT sore? Here are my tips below, but Id love to hear what you have to say. 1) Water, water, water - drink it. :-) 2) I have heard about the benefits of diluting a teaspoon of baking soda into a glass of water and drinking it a few times a day. Its supposed to neutralize the lactic acid in the muscles. Please - Read up on this before trying it yourself. 3) Foam Roll - Its P.A.I.N.F.U.L. and will cause you to make faces and noises that you dont generally go around making in public, but it is oooohhhh so helpful.
