Two events of great political import took place yesterday in the Northern Nigeria city of Kano. 1. President GEJ attended the formal return of the immediate past Governor of the state Mallam Ibrahim Shkarau to PDP. the former Governor dumped APC for the POP thereby betraying as it were, his Successor Alhaji Rabiu Kwankwaso who was Shekaraus predecessor in 2007. As the usual culture in Nigeria politics, before the arrival of the Abuja party faithfuls lead by GEJ, war of words have begun between the incumbent Governor and GEJ, when he said he wont welcome GEJ in Kano. On his own part, during his speech at the event, GEJ accused Gov. Kwankwaso of embezzling local government allocations and state funds. 2. Gov. Kwankwaso upon hearing this, and accompanied by the APC faithfuls took to the Polo ground in Kano with brooms where the event was held and swept off GEJs footmarks. Now, my people what do you make of this whole issues here please?
