Two generations, the past and the present. Looking into a mirror, but nothing is reflecting. The image is reversed like a negative photo. You know the genealogy of the Black Man use to be Negro. Now I’m not talking about Nigger, I’m talking about Negro. Until the Negro actually start acting like the Nigger, or the “N Word” as some might say. But anyway, back to the subject at hand. Two generations with two separate plans, going in the opposite directions. You see our mothers and our fathers they fought for our freedom. You know the Civil Rights Movement, Rosa Parks, Dr. Martin Luther King, John Lewis, and so many others. Now that’s a generation we all can be proud of. But this generation is acting amuck. To tell you the truth, this generation really kind of sucks! Kids out there doing the Fire and the Pass Out Challenge. Brothers walking around with their drawls hanging out. Girls on the internet showing their (*% Well you know what I really want to say. But you know what? I wonder if they start writing “For White People Only” Over restaurant doors, and water fountains, and bathrooms, Will it bring us back together again? Because segregation seem to unite us, but freedom is really tearing us apart. As a matter of fact, I think that the past generation should live in the present. And I think the present generation should go back in the past. But then again! If the present generation was in the past, and we had to rely upon them to set our future, Oh my God! I don’t think that we would have any hope! That’s why I thank God that the past generation set a foundation that cannot be broken nor destroyed.
