Two hours ago I crossed the indoor pedestrian border bridge that connects Hong Kong with Shenzhen, China. Specifically the Lok Ma Chau / Futian port. I do this twice a week every week for the last five years. The bridge is about 300 meters long over a river. This is the bridge that Austin Marhold just glides with an electric unicycle through without hesitation but Kevin Lee and I never dared to do. At least not through the immigration area and customs because I did actually do it just once on the bridge part. However, for the first time tonight I see the POLICE (two of them, and probably police from the mainland side) riding these Segway clones on the bridge. I wonder if theyll ever switch to EUs. I wonder if their riding Segway clones makes it more legal for us to ride EUs on that bridge. :D
