Two men are due to appear in court this morning after detectives from Macquarie Fields Local Area Command executed a search warrant in a home near Campbelltown. About 4.15pm yesterday (Monday 28 July, 2014), officers stopped a vehicle seen leaving a residential address in Coburg Place at Bow Bowing Two men, both aged 24, were detained by police while further inquiries were made. Those inquiries led police back to the Coburg Place home where a search warrant was executed. Police will allege they located a hydroponic set-up where more than 270 mature cannabis plants were being cultivated. Both men were taken to Macquarie Fields Police Station where they were charged with cultivate large commercial quantity of cannabis by enhanced indoor means. Bail has been refused, and they will appear in Campbelltown Local Court today (Tuesday 29 July, 2014).
