Two more sleeps and we are off to the other side of the equator. Excited... nervous... yes - experiencing those. Going to be a long couple days. We leave Vancouver around 11:00, stopover in Chicago for about 4 hours (- not long enough to go see the Bean) Fly overnight to Sao Paulo, Brazil, stopover there for 12 hours then a three hour flight to Manaus (arriving at 1:05 AM may be a bit tired) Manaus is in the Amazon - not exactly a jungle experience there as it is a city of 2 million or so. But, we will go on a tour to a jungle lodge for a few days so that should give us a jungle feel for a few days.
