Two more sleeps until I get time to spend with my family. I am so - TopicsExpress

Two more sleeps until I get time to spend with my family. I am so thankful for the way we grew up, and I dont look back without being very aware of how very lucky I am. Not all families have the special bond that we have...from our own immediate families to my aunts, uncles, cousins, and, grandparents. Is it loud? YES!! Anyone who knows me can rest assured that part came from my family:) Is it full of laughter? You better believe it!! Is it possible to see the love in that room? No doubt. We spent all of our holidays at my memere and peperes house. All of the cousins would make up games in the hallway with the same multi-colored ball that memere still has in her closet. Wed play in the kids room and make tents or pretend that the rug was full of alligators. Wed roll over each other in the living room...there was turkey on Thanksgiving with memeres homemade soup at night, appetizers on Christmas eve, red velvet cake on Christmas for Jesus (HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I love telling people that;), pasta dinner on New Years day. We are all spread across the country now, east to west coast. But one thing that has never changed and will NEVER change is the close relationship we all have. It doesnt matter how much time passes in between visits, we are always going to have each other and the incredible memories we grew up with. This holiday season Im going to remind myself of those memories and focus on creating something similar for my own kids. Because I will never forget those moments.
