Two questions from the Behind the Scenes Q and A ; How much do you earn? Why does Carnival not give any discount for Police Officers and Fire Fighters. The salary question I answered with attempted humour mixed in with a subtle mid your own sodding business. The other question was not so easy to answer because both jobs are very challenging. But if you do for Police Officers and firefighters how about Nurses, Us Coastguard and indeed.........teachers. All I could was thank him and hoped he had enjoyed the cruise which he said he had...............but he feels as a Police Officer he deserves discount and he was very vocal about it. Interestingly enough...........there was no applause from the 200 or so people there which sort of tells you something. cheers
