Two years ago today, my Momma joined her sisters in heaven. It was such a shock when I got the call telling me to hurry to the hospital, but my friend Terri Lane Inman picked me up immediately and drove me over an hour to get there and stayed by my side. My cousin Barbie Thompson Merrick was at my house before I made it back to Jonesboro and helped me with arrangements. My church family surrounded me and supported me when I wasnt even sure which way was up. A lot has happened during the past two years and somedays I still pick up the phone to call her before I realize what Ive done. The kids and I miss her terribly, but are so grateful she will meet each of us at the gate when its our time. RIP, Momma, because when I get there I sure have some stories for you!!
