Tyler McDermids big day not enough, as Legends 10U loses 9-3 to Fury Despite Tyler McDermids 2-2 performance at the plate on Saturday, Legends 10U took a 9-3 loss at the hands of Fury at Camp Jordan. Two of Legends 10Us runs were scored thanks to timely hitting by Tyler. He singled in the third and fourth innings. Fury was sparked by Yates and Songer, who teamed up for three hits and four RBIs. Jaylon Hile was charged with the loss. He allowed nine runs in four innings, walked four and struck out five. The game was never in doubt after the first, as Fury scored two runs on an error and a groundout by Nix. Fury tacked on another four runs in the third. Yates kicked things off with a double, plating McCallie. That was followed up by Nixs single, scoring Yates. After pushing across three runs in the top of the fourth, Legends 10U faced just a 6-3 deficit. An error and a two-run single by Tyler set off Legends 10U rally. Will Anderson struck out to end the Legends 10U threat. Fury survived Legends 10Us surge and put up three runs of its own in the fourth. Fury scored on a solo home run by Songer and a two-run home run by Yates.
