Typhoon Rammasun (09W) remains active in the Philippine Sea approximately 435 miles east-southeast of Manila, Philippines. The JTWC reports Rammasun has maximum sustained winds near 75 knots with gusts near 90 knots. The storm is tracking west-southwest for the next 12 hours and is expected to make landfall with the Philippine Islands within 24 hours. Meanwhile, there are two other active tropical distrubances in the northwest Pacific, both with a low chance of developing into significant tropical cylcones in the next 24 hours. One area is approximately 240 NM east of Yap, while the other is located about 75 NM northwest of Pohnpei. There is also an area of disturbance in the northeastern Pacific Ocean, between the coast of Mexico and the Hawaiian Islands that has shows an improving trend towards developing into a tropical cyclone
