U12s Bilston Challenge Cup Semi-Final Shelfield United 0 Stafford Rangers U12s 5 Stafford travelled to Rushall to play newly crowned Bilston Premier League champions Shelfield United in the Bilston Cup Semi Final. Cup holders Stafford started the brighter and on a small pitch Owen Turner and Robson Flude started to pull the strings in midfield. Its was only the assistant referees flag that saved rangers from falling behind when the ball was deemed to be out of play. Rangers broke the deadlock in the 17th minute when Gabriel Hughess fierce shot could only be pushed aside by the keeper and Danny Stevens tapped home from close range. Rangers doubled there lead in the 25th minute when Stevens latched onto Turners long throw and wrong foot the keeper. As expected Shelfield started to push forward and following a flurry of corners it was only a brilliant driving save from Bradley Foster-Theniger that kept them out, rangers back 3 weathered the storm and following a corner James Black made it 3-0 in the 40th minute. It was soon 4-0 when again following a corner Robson Flude fired in from the edge of the penalty box giving the keeper little chance and in the 52nd minute Jay Ford completed the scoring when he beat the offside trap to make it 5-0 and book Rangers cup final appearance
