U20 reps boost Ba IT will be headache for Ba coach Yogendra Dutt to select the team for the Fiji Sun/Skipper Tuna National Football League match against Labasa on Saturday following the return of its Fiji under-20 reps. Back in the frame are Praneel Naidu, Narendra Rao, Saula Waqa, Antonio Tuivuna and Samuela Nabenia who helped Fiji win the Oceania Football Confederation U20 Championship in Suva last Saturday. Goalkeeper Misiwani Nairube won the golden glove award at the championship and made his debut for the Men in Black against Nadi on Sunday. Nairube stood in for Epeli Codro who was serving a one-match suspension and played gallantly in the 3-0 victory. Ba team manager Arvind Singh said they would take 18 players to Vanua Levu. Singh said the Fiji U20 reps were back training with them. Certainly, the form of our players in the Fiji U20 was outstanding, he said. Now it will be a selection headache for coach Yogendra to name the 18 players to travel to the North. Labasa is always difficult to beat on their home soil. Three points is vital from this match as we come to the end of round one. Ba is third on the points table behind second placed Nadi and leader Suva. Labasa is placed in fourth position. A win in the fixture will propel Ba to second position. The match will kick off at 1pm at Subrail Park. The Premier Division matches will be played on Sunday. At 1pm at Buckhurst Park, Tailevu Naitasiri will face Rakiraki while at 2pm at Theodore Park, Vatukoula will take on Nasinu. Source : FijiTimes
