UA Early College added a special Gateway close to you! On Monday, November 18, we will host a Gateway class session in Ozark, Alabama. If you have a 3.0+ cumulative high school GPA, you are invited to apply for The University of Alabamas premiere UA Early College program. Monday, November 18 in Carroll High School, Ozark, AL from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. Student class session from 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Parent(s) join student from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. Deadline to apply is Friday, November 8. Go to uaearlycollege.ua.edu and complete the following steps: a. Complete the Online Application and pay $40.00. b. Ask your counselor to send your high school transcript (demonstrating a 3.0+ since the 9th grade) c. Complete the Student Essay Following the November 18th session, you will complete the two-credit-hour Gateway class online from November 18th until December 14th. You will earn a UA Early College scholarship, be eligible to earn dual credit as well as live on campus during summer 2014 to take college classes. Questions?
