UC Santa Barbara is pleased to announce there is some capacity to admit students on appeal for fall 2013. Though space is limited, students with at least a 3.0 GPA overall and sufficient preparation in their chosen major are encouraged to submit appeals with final spring grades. All appeals will reviewed. The Appeal Process ◾ Send a letter requesting that we reconsider the application. The letter must be written by the applicant. Email or fax submissions will not be reviewed. ◾ If the basis for the appeal is a changed grade or an incorrectly reported test score, provide documentation (e.g., a transcript or a revised score report) in the same envelope as your letter of appeal. ◾ Include copies college transcripts (required). ◾ Letters of recommendation are not required.
