UFO Research Queensland Public Meeting Friday - 29 August, 2014. Start: 7.30pm TOPIC 1: Star-man Orfeo Angelucci : A Guide to Jung For Dummies Speaker : Aldo Donadel Aldo will explore how 1950s contactee, Orfeo Angelucci, a simple-hearted Italian aircraft mechanic from Noo Joisey - captured the mind of the most revered psychologist of his era, Dr Carl Jung. Jung welcomed Orfeos story as a confirmation of his theory of UFOs as materialized Archetypes. To help us join the dots, and parallels with the current abduction scenarios, well also explore the work of Dr Gregory Little, Ufologist & Jungian Psychologist. From his Seneca Indian lineage, Dr Little draws on indigenous experiences and beliefs about entities & energy forms (Archetypes), and how they can materialize! Can it be true that UFO witnesses are interacting with physically real entities whose origin lies in Carl Jungs conception of the archetypes within humanitys collective unconscious? If true, what does that mean for UFOLOGY today. TOPIC 2: UFO Phenomena in Ancient Artworks and Religion Speaker : Jan Slottje To the modern eye free of religious shackles, ancient religious artworks might actually portray the fact that we have been visited by UFO and phenomena for most of our history. Jan will investigate the more well known religious artwork as well as the portrayal of phenomena in ancient symbolism through to more recent events, looking at the possible affinity with todays UFO phenomenon. Jan has travelled extensively throughout Europe as part of her research visiting Rome many times where her mother resides at Castle Gandolfo, the Popes Summer Residence.
