UG Courses Orientation Program at Poornima University, Jaipur Orientation Week for the newly enrolled undergraduate students in the New-Age Career-Ready Programs at Poornima University was organized during the 2nd week of July 2014. Students were introduced to these advanced and career oriented undergraduate courses by Shri. Shashikant Singhi, Director General of Poornima Foundation. Sri. Shashikant Singhi shared his views on career oriented higher education and his take on these new courses at Poornima University that are aimed at transforming students into career-ready IT professionals during the three years that they spend at the University. He talked about time management and value of skills. He also shared his own personal experience and learning as an undergraduate student. Ms. Dhanya Divakaran from iNurture , who addressed the students subsequently, talked about the new technologies such as Mobile Applications and Cloud Technology, that are fast growing within the IT sector offering tremendous career potential for the students . Mr. Jasmine Thadesar spoke about the basics of IT infrastructure and Information Security in her address. This was followed by a session by Mr. Arpit Solanki form iNurture, who spoke on Career in Animation, Mobile Apps, Cloud Technology, IT infrastructure and Cyber Security.
