UNCW continues to monitor weather events affecting our region. In response to the latest information available, UNCWs main campus will close at 11 p.m. tonight (Tuesday) and reopen at 11 a.m. on Wed., Feb. 12. All campus services will be closed until 11 a.m. on Wednesday, EXCEPT Wagoner Dining Hall, which will open at 8 a.m. Faculty and staff on UNCWs main campus should NOT report to campus until 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 12, unless otherwise notified by their supervisors. The Catastrophic Weather Policy will be in effect until 11 a.m. on Wednesday. From 11 a.m. on, faculty and staff should exercise the Adverse Weather Policy, and use their discretion regarding travel to campus. In-person classes and those requiring students to travel to participate at UNCW extension sites (in Duplin, Sampson, Lee, Onslow, Carteret and Brunswick Counties) are canceled for Weds., Feb. 12. Students who will be absent from scheduled classes due to weather conditions should contact their instructors. Faculty, staff and students should exercise discretion while commuting to UNCWs main campus from outlying counties. Please continue to monitor the hotline at 910.962.3991, social media, and UNCW.edu.
