UNRAVELLING SOME TB JOSHUA MISCONCEPTIONS I aim to educate and open peoples eye with this update. That doesnt take away your right to interpret it as you wish; Ive always said my wall is a democracy! I have never believed this una TB Joshua for one day and people close to me know that! Even at the office, his diehards know to skirt his issue in my presence, cos I will tell you my mind IN VERY CLEAR TERMS! I was brought up in a very open-minded but strict Christian setting where the focus is not on doctrines or dogma but on what the Bible REALLY says about beliefs, practices and signs. Things were looked at dispassionately from that perspective. One way to quickly turn me off at best or most (=more) likely piss me off is to anchor your reasoning or position on what MY PASTOR or THE MAN OF GOD said! First thought that blazes through my mind at such times is, this God you dey talk so, no be all of us Papa?. I hate religious colonialism with a passion and thats what many so called MEN OF GOD world over practice! I can count in one hand how many of them I really listen to! T. D. Jakes, W.F. Kumuyi and Pope Francis (no apologies to my Pentecostal tongue speaking brethren) are Men of God I will listen to anyday! THESE GUYS ARE REAL. That is not to say I dont disagree with some of the things they teach o, nope! They are still tied to some dogma so, I just wait for the next page when they get to the STATUTORILY ALLOCATED dogma pages! I equally come from a place where traditional means are REAL! In case you dont understand, I mean a place where a pot would be made to HANG in mid-air WITHOUT any support whatsoever and the contents made to BOIL WITHOUT FIRE before your very PHYSICAL eyes! Go to farm on days they forbid and be ready for MYSTERIOUS SNAKE CHASE! I once abandoned farming implements for days on account of such a snake chase! Mumsy cajoled and threatened me to go get the hoe, head-pan and machete back or..... I chose or without shame or regret! There, you practice REAL Christianity, which says pray and WATCH, possibly in 3D! So, you will now understand why I smile when I see all these amanwuru and wuruwuru going on in the whole place in the name of Christianity! I know the TRUTH and have equally WITNESSED manifestations of the other side! Telling me you SELL water or that the protection/Favour/mercy/Grace of God is based on financial contributions is the BIGGEST fraud you can talk of on earth! I dont doubt that THINGS actually happen in such setting, they do. Question is, BY WHOSE POWER? Recall both Moses and the Egyptian magicians BOTH turned stick to snake. Also recall a DEMON possessed lady ACCURATELY prophesied to none other than St Paul on how he was going to die and he ACTUALLY got arrested as she prophesied, yet Paul had to REBUKE the strange spirit. You rather should go to a CORRECT native doctor than go to some of these middlemen, at least, you will get it cheaper (Igboman sense)! Lets look at TB Joshua fruits from Biblical perspective shall we? I know plenty of you wont bother reading the verses from the bible, so, let me dump the entire references here so you know exactly what Im talking about! 1. NEMA, a rightfully constituted authority turned out to an emergency scene, with LIVES at stake and BLIND FOLLOWERS, possibly on instruction, chased them away! This is the opposite of what the Bible TB Joshua claims to teach says! Give to everyone what you owe them: Pay your taxes and government fees to those who collect them, and give respect and honor to those who are in authority (Romans 13:7 NLT) For the Lord’s sake, submit to all human authority—whether the king as head of state, or the officials he has appointed. For the king has sent them to punish those who do wrong and to honor those who do right (1 Peter 2:13-14 NLT). So, pray, whose doctrine is he teaching? 2. Gods gift are not for sale! Not to fellow ministers, not to members, not to visitors! A man named Simon had been a sorcerer there for many years, amazing the people of Samaria and claiming to be someone great. Everyone, from the least to the greatest, often spoke of him as “the Great One—the Power of God.” They listened closely to him because for a long time he had astounded them with his magic (Acts of the Apostles 8:9-NLT) Fast-forward in the same portion and you see what Simon did! When Simon saw that the Spirit was given when the apostles laid their hands on people, he offered them money to buy this power. “Let me have this power, too,” he exclaimed, “so that when I lay my hands on people, they will receive the Holy Spirit!” But Peter replied, “May your money be destroyed with you for thinking God’s gift can be bought! You can have no part in this, for your heart is not right with God. Repent of your wickedness and pray to the Lord. Perhaps he will forgive your evil thoughts, for I can see that you are full of bitter jealousy and are held captive by sin.” (Acts of the Apostles 8:18-23 NLT) Does the scenario above resemble what you see in many places today claiming to be prayer houses or whatever name they go by? I think its better you kukuma go to a good native doctor than all these double-barreled deceit people are patronizing, at least, you will know which side you are! Avoid double-jeopardy! #ShineYourEye
