UPDATE #22: Camp Pendleton fire update CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. - The Commanding General has lifted the evacuation order for all areas and has left it to the judgment of each Area Commander to give the order for personnel to return to their Areas. Las Pulgas Road is closed entirely. There are active Traffic Control Points at Stuart Mesa and Las Pulgas Road, as well as Basilone and Las Pulgas Road. Ammunition Road is closed and there are active Traffic Control Points at Ammunition Road and Marine Drive. The Las Pulgas Gate and Cristianitos Gate are open for normal operations and the Del Mar Gate will be open until 2200, Saturday, May 17. Cloverleaf construction at the Main Gate will be complete at 2000, Saturday, May 17. The following facilities will operate on normal schedule starting Sunday, May 18; 52 Area Fitness Center, 22 Area Fitness Center, and 53 Area Fitness Center and Single Marine Program. MCCS currently plans to open the Golf Course and Paintball Park Sunday, May 18. All facilities that were opened Saturday, May 17 will remain open Sunday, May 18, as well.
