UPDATE: A magnitude 6.2 earthquake hit the lower North Island shortly before 4pm this afternoon. Being a public holiday in the Wellington region, most of our branches and corporate buildings were unoccupied. And, were relieved to report that there have been no reports of injuries to any of our staff. At present, our property teams are working with engineering experts to inspect our Wellington corporate sites, as well as our branches in Masterton, Dannevirke and Pahiatua. We expect that all corporate sites and the majority of branches will be open tomorrow morning. As always, we will keep you informed of updates as we get them. Thank you for your patience.
