**UPDATE** Afternoon and evening classes at UAF and CTC will be held as scheduled, with one exception: All classes scheduled at locations on Fort Wainwright and Eielson Air Force Base are cancelled for the remainder of the day. In addition, students who normally use the borough buses, including the shuttle from campus to CTC classes at 604 Barnette Street, should be aware that those buses are not running this afternoon or evening. Instructors and students are strongly urged to use their own judgment about whether it is safe to hold or attend classes. Instructors who need to cancel a class should communicate directly with their students and department heads. All instructors should be flexible with students who cannot safely travel to campus: Students should not be penalized if they miss class due to weather conditions.
