UPDATE: Angie started feeling some slight discomfort around noon today and didnt think anything of it until around 3:00 PM when the pain was a little more than uncomfortable. We called the doctor and came in to have it looked at. Some nurses found both babies heartbeats, each sounded strong, and then our doctor came in to do a more extensive exam. They told us she was having contractions and was dilated to a four. Part of Lolas umbilical cord was in the birth canal and they were afraid she wasnt going to make it. We were placed in another room and they did an ultrasound. Both babies were moving and seemed fine. After some calls to a few specialists, our doctor told us that they werent going to try anything major since the babies were in good shape. Instead they checked her blood for infection and put her at an incline hoping things would return to normal. If any sign of infection is present they will deliver both babies to save her. Angie will be in a hospital bed until the babies come, whether tomorrow or next month. She is still having contractions and is in a fair amount of pain. Please pray for healing. Pray for comfort. Pray for strength. Pray.
