UPDATE FROM ALLIE: Dear Friends, We had a wonderful Sabbath yesterday! I believe there were 18 present, four who drove from Houston, and 35 who listened to our live-streaming. Realizing there were two or three in many of the homes that were catching the live-streaming, all told we may have had more than 100 people learning from the excellent sermon we heard and benefitting from the lively discussion.. Royce Mitchell JD of Houston, treated us with a sermon that has long been needed in the Churches of God— Judgment-the Misunderstood Necessity. He asked, What do we know about judging other people? Should we do so? Is it right to judge others? If we are to judge, then what or who are we to judge? Is there a time to judge and a time not to judge, paraphrasing Solomon? Weve all had Jesus words mandating us not to judge quoted. Dont judge me! or You cant judge me! But, does that quote taken out of context really give us an understanding of the truth Jesus spoke? If you want to hear this sermon, call 1-888-BIBLE 44 to get your FREE copy. Dr. Mitchell took us step-by-step through some Scriptures on judgment to help us acquire God’s mind on the subject. It was very interesting and beneficial. This very kind servant of God is willing to drive from Houston from time to time to help us by giving sermons. What a blessing he is to CEM and what a blessing he can be to you if you will come to our worship service or tune in to our live streaming! Everyone keeps asking How is Mr. Dart doing. Well, all you have to do is tune into CEM live-streaming on the Sabbath and you can see for yourself. He led in prayer twice and participated in the lively discussion after the sermon. He’s been doing remarkably well. His doctors are giving good reports and comment on how his speech is improving. Please keep him in your prayers. And don’t forget to thank God for Ron’s improvements. CEM is a very small organization struggling to do big things. Our goal is to bring many sons to glory. Please don’t despise the smallness of CEM, (Zechariah 4:11), but rejoice in and support what we’re doing. Please call or write for the YEA and Born to Win catalogs. You will see for yourself that we publish and broadcast probably more than any other organization in our tradition. We may be small, but CEM’s dedicated, hard-working staff is busy trying to reach the world with the Gospel of Christ. Jesus recognized the little flock in Luke 12:32, when he said, Fear not little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. We at CEM want to be in God’s Kingdom and we want you there with us. Please come and Join CEM’s Fellowship group at 312 W. Main Street, Whitehouse, TX. At 2 p.m. every Saturday. We have great sermons, snacks, Bible discussion, and fellowship. We want to get to know you and be your friend. Bring a friend and come, or at least tune in to live-streaming. We looking forward to seeing you. Much love, Ron and Allie
