UPDATE ON ANGEL: Sorry it is taking me so long to update it has been one buy evening here...... Well Angel did very well at the Vet... she was welcomed with opened arms and treated like a princess. :D :D She is a Pit mix they are thinking LAB she is about 8 months old, her wounds are about 2 months old. the break is very bad she is going to have to have her leg amputated, she has a fever and is fever infected , they took ex rays and her body is trying to heel it itself and all in the wrong way she is in pain and handling very very well they said, they said she is so sweet and such a trooper, she has worm belly but is about 10lbs under weight right now not saying what she was when I first had her placed on my porch, she is right now at home with us she was sent home over the weekend with two antibiotics, and pill for inflammation, and a high dose pain medication, she has been given tick and flea medication and is cleaned up, she is scheduled to have surgery at 8:30 Thursday morning so that more donation can be made to cover then surgery. there has been 11 Donations on her behalf and that did pay for everything today with a credit still which still left us with needing $655.00 to cover the surgery and hospital over night stay this will also include the vaccinations, heart worm,Amputation, catheter, anesthesia, e-collar, to have her fixed, oral medications,fluids, That price is not including any visits after surgery or any cost after....... The 11 donations that were made covered the $300.00 for today and also $ went towards the 1000.00 surgery the $655.00 is the balance needed for the surgery and such..... they were AWESOME with her and ANGEL did wonderful she she road in the truck great. we did not know how she would do for the half hour drive and she was great and Yes I was a mess I had the vet assistants crying with me lol But She is here with us on medications and getting strong for surgery. she is bathed and smells good (she smelled bad because her leg is rotting) and is medicated and probably feeling no pain and she is fed and sleeping inside until surgery she will be in surgery for about 45 minutes to and hour and will either stay the night and if no complications will come here to her tempory home the next day for heeling.... If I have left anything out Please ask?????? Best Friends Animal Hospital is Open Saturday for Donations from 7am-12 noon then they will be closed SUNDAY AND MONDAY will be back open Tuesday again from 7am-6pm for donations we will go from there she said on the donations and if not enough has come in by Thursday Morning for Surgery we will discuss it on Wednesday afternoon... so Please Help this little Angel.... AND THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH TO ONES THAT HAVE HELPED ALREADY GOD BLESS YOUR SWEET LOVING HEARTS and also to all of you that have shared our story and re posted and got it out there for us THANK YOU.....
