UPDATE ON DADDY: the drs say he hes not out of the woods yet, but he missed a major bullet last night. They (orthopedic and internist) both fully expected to have to take Daddy to surgery last night. BUT PRAISE GOD, our prayers were heard. He will be in the hospital at least until Monday and the dr says most likely Tuesday. He was in HORRIFIC pain until about 4am. He was getting morphine via IV every 3 hours and it wasnt touching the pain. But finally, this morning he had a slight reduction in the swelling and the pain reduced. They finally have given him something to eat this morning...which also tells me they arent anticipating having to do emergency surgery. :) Because his leg was so swollen he now has large water blisters all over his leg. We are praying the body absorb the fluid and they not pop...that keeps the risk of infection down. Also praying the pain continue to diminish and he be able to rest comfortably. You have ALL blessed my family more than you will ever know! Thank you...and we appreciate your continued prayers.
