**UPDATE ON DREW** Please disregard anything you have previously read or heard regarding his diagnosis. We are seeing four different doctors & it seems they dont communicate with each other before talking to us. Drews tumor was a Grade 3 Anaplastic Oligoastrocytoma which is malignant. He is currently taking radiation Monday-Friday until September 11th. Hopefully next week he will be started on Temodar, a chemo pill, which he will take five times a month for the next 12-18 months. He will have an MRI the first week of October to see how much the remaining portion of tumor has shrunk, then he will have a 2-day visit to The Preston Robert Tisch Tumor Center at Duke to discuss what his further treatment will consist of. I apologize for the previous posts which stated it was not cancer, but thats what we were initially told. Thanks for the continued prayers for him & our family!
