UPDATE ON LACEY, the 11 week old puppy: I dropped her off at the vet today so the fill-in vet could look her over and make sure theres no infection in her leg and that shes not in pain. They did xrays and apparently the fractures to her leg happened when she was 2 wks old, its stunted the growth of her leg and made it deformed. A specialist is coming in Wednesday and will decide if it needs to be amputated or if they can crank it little by little to make it go straight again. We must do something quickly because the deformity in the one leg can cause problems for the other leg because of how shes walking now. If anyone could help us with the bill today it would be greatly appreciated. You can call it into the vets office at 410-833-1717 tell them its for Lacey with pits and Rotts rescue.
