UPDATE ON MY LIL OLIVER ........... First , Thank you to all my friends for the prayers and loving support . PLease , please continue to pray hard for my sweet lil Guy . Oliver has a Collapsed Lung and an Extremely Enlarged Liver . Exrays were taken as well as Blood . WE have to wait till tomorrow for the results of the blood tests . The vet said she has never seen anything like this as there are no injuries to account for the collapsed Lung or the enlarged Liver in such a young cat , she is going to do some research tonight in the hope of finding answers . She prescibed a Lasix tablet , just in case there is any fluid build up. Poor lil Oliver was so freaked out by being at the vets and hearing all the dogs barking in other rooms that he growled , hissed and bit 4 times hard enough to give me deep puncture wounds. No one could get near him so they had to use some type of device to restrain him long enough to sedate him in order to shave his neck for the blood draw and the exrays . I dont blame my lil sweetheart at all for biting me , he was just so scared . The Vet will call me Tomorrow after she gets the results from the blood tests to figure out what to try to do next . Now that we are home Oliver is his sweet little self and is laying down on the kitchen floor near me . He is still very , very shacky from the sedative , so i have to wait till hes more steady to give him the Lasix or he might chocke on it . God only knows how or where the money will come from to pay the Vet bill , its alredy over $ 400.00 just for today But i have faith and i will do whatever it takes to do whaever needs doing for my lil treaure Oliver. I will keep you posted on further developments in Olivers diagnosis and care .. Again from the deepest part of my heart , Thank you all For being here for Oliver and me .
