UPDATE ON MY MOM - Mom has been home since Tuesday and has improved more in the last 5 days than she has in the last 5 weeks at the rehabilitation. I am thrilled to see the results happen so quickly and am also happy to see my Dad back to his normal self. No more depression or running all over the place for him. However, if any finds themselves in the position of caring for a loved one at home make sure you have plenty of help and some time for yourselves. I wont name any names, but out of the 6 siblings, only 2 of us are here for the constant care. Trust me, this is not for the faint of heart or weak of stomach. I do Thank God that I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, even though it may be months away. A glimmer of light is better than darkness. Again, I thank you all for your calls, cards, thoughts and especially your prayers. Please keep them up, as they are part of our light.
