UPDATE ON WES HARBISON: OCT. 31, 2013 Wes had a stint put in his heart last night by Dr. Wollmuth. There was a vein that was obstructed, cutting off oxygen to Wess heart and thus making Wes, oxygen deprived. Dr. Wolmuth opened an occluded vein to give Wes fresh blood to his heart. They will do another stint on Thursday, Nov. 7th at 11:00 called a sub-clavian stint for intervention purposes in order that the blood to the heart will not take another route AWAY from the heart but rather TO the heart. The sub-clavain stint will be put in place to make SURE the blood goes to the heart....not away from the heart, thus taking fresh oxygen to the heart through the blood.
