**UPDATE** The gorgeous kitty just below who was brought in by one of our workers on Sunday night, is home!! Her name is Moonshine and she slipped out of her house while her owner is out of town. I spoke with her owner today, and she was in tears she was so worried and thankful that Moonshine was safe and sound. Now, heres the information we want you to know. Moonshine had a microchip, however, when we called, we were told it was registered to a lab. Who lived in California. We were then finally told that the chip was sold to TAPS. So, we contacted them and finally found got a name of who probably owned this kitty. But, they had no phone number. So, after literally a dozen calls, we finally were able to locate the owner. So, its VERY important that you not only microchip your pets but also that you make sure the information they have is current and correct. A HUGE thank you to all of you for the shares and also to the Pekin Police Department and to the city of Pekin for their help in our investigative work! Welcome home, Moonshine! :)
