UPDATE: There was only one vehicle involved in the accident on southbound I-55. The Ford Explorer was traveling southbound when it tried to change lanes. It saw another car in the lane, and over-corrected, rolling off the highway and over West Frontage Road before coming to a rest. The driver and passenger were ejected from the vehicle. Both were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Traffic has been slowed, but there hasnt been any road closures.
