UPDATE: Well, aint gonna lie its been a rough few days. Friday took forever, forever of no eating & waiting listening to my belly cry & rumble all day. But I cant complain much cause I was squeezed in for the procedure, thankful I didnt have to wait til next week. And after 8 hours of no eating I INHALED a chicken wrap, string cheese, cantaloupe, honey dew melon, a breakfast bar, fruit snax & 2 apple juice boxes... GET IN MY BELLY!!! Procedure was a little more painful than expected, glad I opted for the twilight anesthesia. When I awoke, I was bleeding a little, so they had to apply pressure for 20min to THE area I just had biopsied OUUUUUCCCCHIEEE! Then they almost admitted me, but the swelling & bleeding stopped. Icing & relaxing this weekend. P, Daddy & Uncle Matt went to Lego Land yesterday (FUN!!!) & I was able to chill & rest all day. My next project is to write my sweet Patience a letter to remember forever...to always remind her & me, that SHE was/is Mommys biggest cheerleader during all of this. This tiny human being has showed me more compassion, sympathy, love, encouragement, humor....I am blown away at her character....they know, they absorb, they grow....this experience is showing my child the most compassion & vulnerability she can experience...& shes handling it like a BOSS!
