***UPDATED*** BOYS BASKETBALL TRYOUT INFO 1. MON. OCTOBER 28th: -3rd/4th, 5th, 6th Grade from 6-7:30pm @ Matthews Middle School -7th/8th grade from 7:45-9pm @ Matthews Middle School 2. WED. OCTOBER 30th -3rd/4th, 5th, 6th Grade from 6-7:30pm @ Matthews Middle School -7th/8th grade from 7:45-9pm @ Matthews Middle School 3. FRI. NOVEMBER 1st -3rd/4th, 5th, 6th Grade from 6-7:30pm @ Matthews Middle School -7th/8th grade from 7:45-9pm @ Matthews Middle School Each player is only required to attend one(1) tryout session, however it is STRONGLY encouraged to attend 2 or more tryout sessions so the athlete has the most exposure to the evaluators. There is technically no 3rd grade team, rather they would be trying out for the 4th grade team. There is also NO fee to tryout. Results will be posted on the website over the weekend of Nov. 2-3 Please arrive early to tryouts so there is time to register and sign waivers (parents). There is the possibility of B teams at most levels depending on gym practice space, and coaching staff. If selected, the player can expect to play in 20-30 games from Nov. 2013-March 2014, including 1-3 tournaments (depending on age group). Also a roadside cleanup, a charity event (Feed My Starving Children), receive a "giveaway", a season ending party, and opportunity to buy spirit wear. Practices start in November and games start typically after January 1st. Some games are during the week in the evening, while most games are on the weekends. We would be competing against teams in Lake, McHenry, and northern Cook Counties. Good Luck! MAKE IT HAPPEN!
