UPDATES:The Uganda national anthem will not be changed. The Prime Minister, Amama Mbabazi has given assurance that the national anthem will not be modified, contrary to recent statements by the tourism minister, Maria Mutagamba that Shs180 million is to be spent to modify it. South Sudan President ,Salva Kiir has praised Uganda for the December 2013 prompt intervention in his country saying that had it not been for the UPDF, millions of people in his country would have died and a lot of property would have been destroyed.
