URGENT - JUST IN Please pass this on to any person you believe needs to get this notice Mandatory Evacuation Order Due to Happy Camp Complex Fires Due to increased fire activity of the Happy Camp Complex in the northeast, the Siskiyou County Sheriff is issuing Mandatory Evacuations to residents in all areas of Mill Creek Road 5 miles east of Scott River Rd. Once you leave, you may not be able to reenter the evacuation area until the fire danger has passed. An evacuation center has been established at Happy Camp Karuk Tribal Community Center, 2nd Ave. and Headway Rd, Happy Camp CA. Small animals will be accommodated at the Center. Large animal transport can be arranged through the Sheriff’s Posse. Contact Jodi Aceves, (530) 340-2422 to arrange transport.
