URGENT- we were just contacted by some folks in Brooklyn tonight. This 7 month old boy showed up on their street and appeared to be a dump- yes a dump. He roamed up and down the block all day, seeming lost- well that is because he was dumped by the only people he ever knew. The neighbors on the block have taken him in for the night. He played in the yard today with 2 of their dogs. He is a 6-8 month old healthy, male pit bull. Simba as they named him is in URGENT need of a foster or adopter- the neighbors cant hold him past today, and he will be taken to NYCACC- which is a high-kill shelter , there are no , no-kill shelters that have room for him- they are all full. We are hoping that someone sees this handsome young man, and offers him a home- temporary or forever- he needs help and fast or he is shelter bound tomorrow :( Simba is friendly to all people and kids. he has played with both male and female dogs very nicely today. cats are unknown - we are full to capacity and unless a foster steps up, Simba will be shelter bound- Please contact us and fill out an application- nycsecondchancerescue.org his life depends on it
