URGENT: Can anyone help these elderly cats? One day left to find a home! To whom it may concern, My name is Jessica Becker, Im 28 years old and found my mom passed away on xmas eve. She lived in Illinois for the past 14 years and moved to Jacksonville in October to be closer to me. Im alone getting all of her assets taken care of. She has 4 cats and I have found homes for two and still have 2 cats that need a loving home. Izzy is a long haired tabby and 11 years old. Bobby is darker cat that is 17 years old. Both are happy, playful, and love catnip. I visited Katz for Keeps on Friday, not knowing I needed an apt, and was told there wasnt any room and went to Humane Society after and told No again. Other shelters I was in touch with also had no room. I was wondering if there was any chance by Monday that there would be room for 2 cats? I had an estate sale yesterday and will again this morning. I have raised enough money to make a $600 donation to your rescue if are able to accept my mom’s cats. I live in a small studio apartment with a Chihuahua and taking in one cat. One of my best friends is taking in another cat and after trying very hard to find a home for the other two during the estate sale and social media. I can also offer more donations for your rescue when I have my mom’s memorial in a couple months by asking to have all donations sent to you. My mom’s lease at her house is up on the 21st and need to have a home by Monday. I hope youre able to help. My mom loved her cats so much and the thought of a kill shelter breaks my heart even more than it already is. I love all these cats so much. Hope to hear from you soon.
